When Christian Angelini came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Fizzonasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Angelini couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Fizzonasco FC defense, Daniele Rapone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony De Paolis. The Fizzonasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony De Paolis should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Carlini made a kick off. When Christian Angelini came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fizzonasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Angelini couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Carlini in the 57th minute of play forced Fizzonasco FC's goalkeeper Anthony De Paolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Angelini during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fizzonasco FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Christian Angelini hit a great ball. Haroldo Admon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Anthony De Paolis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over SSC Bari could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fizzonasco FC throughout the match.
