The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Quintun Rabago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anthony De Paolis. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Ernesto Lampa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carmine Rondinelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmine Rondinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Lampa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bruno Calcio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Calcio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Calcio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Prisco's late challenge caught a Livorno 1915's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Prisco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fizzonasco FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristoforo Prisco hit a great ball. Anthony De Paolis was a little too slow when Will Sheridan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-1. The Livorno 1915 fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Livorno 1915's Quintun Rabago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute Christian Angelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Rondinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Angelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Rondinelli having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Fedele Granata took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Anthony De Paolis to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Livorno 1915 made a substitution. Donato Giusto replaced Fedele Granata. Anthony De Paolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Donato Giusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony De Paolis having to interfere. Anthony De Paolis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quintun Rabago went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that Alberigo Farina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anthony De Paolis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the game, Livorno 1915's Quintun Rabago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony De Paolis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 68th minute Will Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony De Paolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Quintun Rabago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Livorno 1915's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintun Rabago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmine Rondinelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Lampa's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Livorno 1915's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Corrado Chiarelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Fizzonasco FC's players had a chance to rest. Fizzonasco FC's Corrado Chiarelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carmine Rondinelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Fizzonasco FC defense, Will Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony De Paolis. The Fizzonasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony De Paolis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintun Rabago in the 81st minute of play forced Fizzonasco FC's goalkeeper Anthony De Paolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristoforo Prisco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 84th match minute, Fizzonasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Prisco to maneuver through the defense. The Livorno 1915 fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Livorno 1915's Will Sheridan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anthony De Paolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Sheridan in the 90th minute of the match. Will Sheridan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Anthony De Paolis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livorno 1915. Anthony De Paolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Sheridan in the 97th minute of play.
