Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriano Lucidi got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Budrione's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Pedroni came free, but Comunardo Melone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Budrione's Comunardo Melone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Di Maio in the 10th minute of play. Adriano Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Di Fazio in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Maio in the 14th minute of play forced Budrione's goalkeeper Comunardo Melone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciccio Palumbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Budrione got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Cattaneo. If Federico Volta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Milazzo's Ciccio Palumbo tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Fedele Di Maio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Comunardo Melone. Fedele Di Maio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Beppe Di Fazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Di Maios short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Comunardo Melone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Comunardo Melone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Volta in the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adriano Lucidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Speranza was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Dave Pasquale took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Speranza. Adriano Speranza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fedele Di Maio had several of the Budrione's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Comunardo Melone as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fedele Di Maio made the kick off in the second half. Beppe Di Fazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milazzo were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Budrione's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciccio Palumbo took the corner. The corner ended in Ciccio Palumbo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Budrione's Comunardo Melone did a great save. In the 61st minute, Biagio Cattaneo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Di Maio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes of play, Milazzo's Federico Volta made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Comunardo Melone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dave Pasquale's late challenge caught a Milazzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Pasquale helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Budrione got a freekick which was hit by Dave Pasquale. Emilio Andreozzi charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Andreozzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Budrione:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Arturo Marra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Di Maio in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Comunardo Melone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fedele Di Maio's late challenge caught a Budrione's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Di Maio helped the player get up and apologised. Fedele Di Maio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Enrico Borgatello kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Fedele Di Maio made a precise shot to the right of Comunardo Melone. Budrione's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Comunardo Melone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Pedroni in the 93rd minute of play. Comunardo Melone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Pedroni in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Adriano Lucidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Milazzo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
