Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristoforo Gregori took the kick off in the first half of the match. 11 minutes into the match, San Ruffino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Cantagallo came free, but Edmondo Del Bello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Gregori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Edmondo Del Bello made a huge save. Edmondo Del Bello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Cantagallo in the 22nd minute of the match. Anfilogino Fortunato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edmondo Del Bello firmly grabbed it by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Edmondo Del Bello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmondo Del Bello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Di Toro in the 30th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rastignano AFC's Bruno Mazzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Rondinelli in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Attilio Rondinelli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Mazzetti. The goal made the score 0-1. San Ruffino FC's Edmondo Del Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Cantagallo in the 59th minute of play. Franco Di Toro succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Franco Di Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Edmondo Del Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Tocchetto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Edmondo Del Bello came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Rastignano AFC's Cristoforo Gregori. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Gregori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Rastignano AFC booed when San Ruffino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Galli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmondo Del Bello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Cantagallo in the 82nd minute of play. Attilio Rondinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Rastignano AFC's Cristoforo Gregori made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Del Bello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristoforo Gregori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmondo Del Bello having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Domenico Boldrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game Armin Volta kicked a great long shot which passed Bruno Mazzetti straight ahead into the goal, Result 3-2. One couldn't see Armin Volta behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. San Ruffino FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
