Edmondo Cipollone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Lucidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Anselmo Basile might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Melone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Basile ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Budrione's Dave Pasquale got a free kick in the 19th minute. SIMPSON 2015's Edmondo Cipollone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Lucidi in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Beppe Di Fazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Budrione's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Di Fazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Cipollone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Biagio Cattaneo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edmondo Cipollone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Budrione's Adriano Lucidi in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SIMPSON 2015's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Dave Pasquale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Orioli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Comunardo Melone made a huge save. Beppe Di Fazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Cipollone having to interfere. Beppe Di Fazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Beppe Di Fazio made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SIMPSON 2015's Alessio Panino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes, Budrione's Emilio Andreozzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmondo Cipollone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Budrione reached it. Budrione's Beppe Di Fazio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beppe Di Fazio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edmondo Cipollone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Budrione. If Beppe Di Fazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Budrione's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Basile came free, but Comunardo Melone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Budrione's Fabrizio Cinalli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabrizio Cinalli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Budrione protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabrizio Cinalli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fabrizio Orioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Melone having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, SIMPSON 2015's goalkeeper Edmondo Cipollone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Cattaneo. Biagio Cattaneo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edmondo Cipollone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Comunardo Coccia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SIMPSON 2015's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Budrione the free kick. After a rather tough play, SIMPSON 2015's Comunardo Coccia got a free kick in the 88th minute. With his leg Edmondo Cipollone managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Budrione's Adriano Lucidi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Comunardo Melone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Basile in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Alfonso Martini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budrione's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Martini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Biagio Cattaneo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 100th minute Alessio Panino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Melone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SIMPSON 2015 were victorious despite being under pressure from Budrione for much of the match.
