Emilio Ciolli helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Spartak Zocca got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Ciolli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Pallotta in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Spartak Zocca getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Federico Mori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartak Zocca's Antonello Mannella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Federico Mori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Antonello Mannella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gattatico's Edvaldo Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Pallotta in the 39th minute of play. Edvaldo Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Pallotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Ercole Preda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak Zocca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Preda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Gattatico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Burelli to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Di Maria was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Pallotta made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ferruccio Pallotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartak Zocca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Pallotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 70th minute of the match Donato Pettinelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvaldo Vargas skillfully saved the ball. Ferruccio Pallotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Vargas having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Aristide Mestecăneanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonello Mannella saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
