Chico Paulista took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferruccio Collovati. Ferruccio Collovati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bombers's Ferruccio Collovati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Cavaliere in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ercole Vitale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bombers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercole Vitale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Schirru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ennio Flocco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Apocalypto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Palladino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Schirru having to interfere. Ferruccio Collovati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Paulista in the 41st minute of the match. Chico Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Collovati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Paulista in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Cavaliere to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ercole Vitale came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Vitale couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bombers getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Davide Bianchini hit a great ball. Florian Firmani shot from long distance after 60 played minutes, a shot that Ferruccio Collovati with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Bianchini to maneuver through the defense. Florian Firmani, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Bombers booed when Apocalypto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Di Sante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Collovati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Capobianco in the 72nd minute. In the 80th match minute, Apocalypto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Capobianco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bombers booed when Apocalypto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Cavaliere succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 94th playminute. When the match was over Apocalypto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bombers throughout the match.
