With an all-out effort, Fenico F.C.'s Sixtus Flory threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alessio Roberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Florian Di Florio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Friulkatané's protests and gave Florian Di Florio a yellow card for diving instead. Florian Di Florio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Cinalli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Romano was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Beppe De Paolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 30th minute, Beppe De Paolis made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Romano. Fenico F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Diego Rossettis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Sixtus Flory to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When %teams%'s Diego Rossetti was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-4 just inside the left pole, 42 minutes into the game. Sixtus Flory was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. If Cosimo Cinalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beppe De Paolis to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-5 became the score in the 54th minute when Beppe De Paolis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fenico F.C.'s Alfredo Colangelo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Beppe De Paolis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosimo Cinalli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Beppe De Paolis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Romano. That made the score 1-6 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe De Paolis in the 77th minute of play forced Fenico F.C.'s goalkeeper Emiliano Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alessio Roberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Fenico F.C.'s Diego Rossetti made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixtus Flory was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86 played minutes Fenico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Torri. When Cosimo Cinalli came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Friulkatané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Cinalli couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Cosimo Cinalli made it 2-7 with a short kick to the right side. Fenico F.C.'s Emiliano Romano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Fenico F.C.'s goalkeeper Emiliano Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Cinalli. Emiliano Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe De Paolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Emiliano Romano came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Friulkatané's Cosimo Cinalli. But to his dismay, Cosimo Cinalli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-8. The Fenico F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Friulkatané were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
