The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damiano Fabrizio helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes WRC Franchi Racing Team got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Fabrizio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe De Paolis in the 15th minute of play forced WRC Franchi Racing Team's goalkeeper Oscar Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WRC Franchi Racing Team's Oscar Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe De Paolis in the 16th minute of play. Cosimo Cinalli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, WRC Franchi Racing Team's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe De Paolis came free, but Oscar Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WRC Franchi Racing Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Fiorentino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Cinalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Capaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Florian Di Florio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in WRC Franchi Racing Team's zone, Cosimo Cinalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Prado came out of the goal and Cosimo Cinalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Cinalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Oscar Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Friulkatané's Beppe De Paolis suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Donato Stefano fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WRC Franchi Racing Team's protests and gave Donato Stefano a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Stefano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, WRC Franchi Racing Team's goalkeeper Oscar Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Cinalli. With a little luck, WRC Franchi Racing Team's Oscar Prado got control of the ball when Antonello Di Fazio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Florian Di Florio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Friulkatané fans jumped to their feet. Oscar Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute of the match Fabiano Biagetti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Prado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The WRC Franchi Racing Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Friulkatané were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
