Bianco Colaussi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pesciroppo! Bernardo Maio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Bianco Colaussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Trotta in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes in the game, Alfonso Vinciguerra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Erasmo da Rotterdam's Attilio Trotta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Colaussi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attilio Trotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Colaussi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Pallini in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Colaussi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pesciroppo's Bianco Colaussi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Nanni in the 24th minute of play. Bianco Colaussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Trotta in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Carlo Nanni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bianco Colaussi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, Pesciroppo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Barchiesi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Attilio Trotta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erasmo da Rotterdam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Trotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bianco Colaussi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Munno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Nanni in the 36th minute of play forced Pesciroppo's goalkeeper Bianco Colaussi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Carlo Nanni made a precise shot to the right of Bianco Colaussi. Pesciroppo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Erasmo da Rotterdam were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alfonso Vinciguerra made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Flavio Pallini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erasmo da Rotterdam and the Pesciroppo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Pallini hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bianco Colaussi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Munno in the 60th minute. Bianco Colaussi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Erasmo da Rotterdam played a much better game than Pesciroppo and deserved their victory. The Pesciroppo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
