Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferruccio Mercuri kicked off to start the match. Fulvio Grimaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Bucci having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Enrico Borgatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ettore De Lorenzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fulvio Grimaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 played minutes Sannaville F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Pacella. In the 22nd minute, Fulvio Grimaldi made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Bucci. Sannaville F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, Sannaville F.C.'s Enrico Borgatello made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ettore De Lorenzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Bucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Lelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Sannaville F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Lelli came free, but Flavio Bucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrico Borgatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberigo Lelli made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Enrico Borgatello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ettore De Lorenzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Tullo got free with Ettore De Lorenzi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrico Borgatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achille Tullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Borgatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore De Lorenzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrico Borgatello slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. Flavio Bucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Lelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poggibonsi's Fulvio Grimaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberigo Lelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Bucci having to interfere. Achille Tullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore De Lorenzi having to interfere. Alberigo Lelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Achille Tullo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Poggibonsi's zone, Ferruccio Mercuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore De Lorenzi came out of the goal and Ferruccio Mercuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Ursini charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Ursini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Ursini hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fedele Flamini lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Poggibonsi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sannaville F.C.:s goal. Alexander Zollino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Flavio Pacella kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Sannaville F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Poggibonsi.
