Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Cardano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Bernardo Barchiesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Di Camillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Piscitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Miccoli made a huge save. In the 13th minute Fabiano Cardano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Miccoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, San Barnaba's Fabiano Cardano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrizio Miccoli. Fabrizio Miccoli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Perla Ionica's Fabrizio Miccoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Cardano in the 20th minute of play. When Bernardo Barchiesi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Perla Ionica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Barchiesi couldn't finish the play. Armando Di Camillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Barchiesi in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Perla Ionica got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Barchiesi. Bernardo Barchiesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Armando Di Camillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Barchiesi in the 31st minute of play forced San Barnaba's goalkeeper Armando Di Camillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Perla Ionica's Felice Della Torre made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Di Camillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Perla Ionica getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ibrahim Yattara hit a great ball. Felice Della Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Di Camillo having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Anthony Scacchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Barnaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perla Ionica the free kick. After a rather tough play, San Barnaba's Anthony Scacchi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Felice Della Torre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Armando Di Camillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Barchiesi might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Di Camillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Barchiesi ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Barchiesi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Perla Ionica's goalkeeper Fabrizio Miccoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, San Barnaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Rocchetti to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Miccoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Piscitelli in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, San Barnaba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Barchiesi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 64th minute Fabiano Cardano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Miccoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, San Barnaba's goalkeeper Armando Di Camillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Barchiesi. Elia Piscitelli scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Miccoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Barchiesi had several of the San Barnaba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Armando Di Camillo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bernardo Barchiesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perla Ionica's Bernardo Barchiesi pulled a muscle in his leg after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edmondo Mazzini charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmondo Mazzini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Perla Ionica's Ennio Ciolli was substituted for Bernardo Barchiesi. In the 83rd minute, Felice Della Torre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Di Camillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to San Barnaba getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edmondo Mazzini hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alfredo Palmieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perla Ionica's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Palmieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Di Camillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Felice Della Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to San Barnaba getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Franco Rocchetti hit a great ball. The San Barnaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Perla Ionica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
