When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Giuseppe Basso sped through Garbatella AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrizio Colelli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Basso in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Colelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giuseppe Basso took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrizio Colelli. Fabrizio Colelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 45 minutes into the game, Edoardo Mandelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garbatella AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Milan the free kick. In the 45th minute, Edoardo Mandelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Basso to make the kick off. Gabriel Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Colelli having to interfere. Fabrizio Colelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Jesus in the 80th minute of the match. Garbatella AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Gabriel Jesus scored to the left of an out of position Fabrizio Colelli, making the score, 0-13. Gabriel Jesus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabrizio Colelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Jesus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 90th minute. If Anthony Pomponio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
