With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iban Vallejo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Muzi saved Eporediao Athleticao from getting behind. Jesus Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Iban Vallejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virgiliana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iban Vallejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francesco Muzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Vallejo in the 30th minute of the match. Francesco Muzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Ciccone in the 36th minute of play forced Virgiliana's goalkeeper Ernesto Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Muzi came out of the goal and Jesus Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th match minute, Eporediao Athleticao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Coscarella to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Iban Vallejo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francesco Muzi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Bardella got free with Ernesto Oroni in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iban Vallejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iban Vallejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Oroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Ciccone, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Adriano Polmone kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Virgiliana's Adriano Polmone got a free kick in the 60th minute. Christian Coscarella hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Virgiliana's zone, Carter Ciccone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Oroni came out of the goal and Carter Ciccone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iban Vallejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francesco Muzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Iban Vallejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. Carlo Allemandi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Iban Vallejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iban Vallejo in the 83rd minute of play forced Eporediao Athleticao's goalkeeper Francesco Muzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Muzi having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Eporediao Athleticao's Aurelio Santucci made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Oroni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francesco Muzi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jesus Araoz. The audience was convinced that Carter Ciccone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Oroni was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Virgiliana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domenico Rotondi in the 98th minute. The corner ended in Domenico Rotondi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eporediao Athleticao's Francesco Muzi did a great save.
