Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edmondo Toccaceli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Geo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosimo Di Crescenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosimo Di Crescenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Brasserie getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cosimo Di Crescenzo hit a great ball. Amos Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Frank Nicolai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Carter Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Nicolai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Santovito struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Demetrio Giovannelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Brasserie. Frank Nicolai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Toccaceli in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th minute Carter Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Nicolai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute Dave Nardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Giovannelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play La Brasserie's Alessandro Franzioni was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th minute, La Brasserie's Elia Di Federico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elia Di Federico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Brasserie protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elia Di Federico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 56 minutes into the game, one of La Brasserie:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Dave Nardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Nicolai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Toccaceli, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Dave Nardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geo AFC's Demetrio Giovannelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Nicolai was a little too slow when Edmondo Toccaceli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. La Brasserie's Frank Nicolai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save La Brasserie from getting a goal against them. La Brasserie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amos Massaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The Geo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Geo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
