Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bernardo Fino hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes, Antonello Walcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Grande FC and the Borbiago players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonello Walcher kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Ermanno Cavallucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Bronder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Krzysztof Bronder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borbiago. Ermanno Cavallucci charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Cavallucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermanno Cavallucci hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Borbiago's Felice Bartolomucci seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felice Bartolomucci the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Borbiago protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felice Bartolomucci had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ferdinando Lemme kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Filippo Di Clemente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Grande FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borbiago the free kick. The supporters of Borbiago booed when Monte Grande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Di Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Antonello Walcher took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alfredo Barillari to make any attempt to save it. 26 minutes into the game, Filippo Di Clemente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Barillari. Filippo Di Clemente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Monte Grande FC's Filippo Di Clemente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Borbiago's Alfredo Barillari got control of the ball when Filippo Di Clemente tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Pedro Caeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Montini kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

If Pedro Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Attilio Piano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Bronder having to interfere. Alfredo Barillari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Costantino in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Caeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Krzysztof Bronder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Alberto Costantino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Giampieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Krzysztof Bronder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dino Montini fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Grande FC's protests and gave Dino Montini a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 minutes Monte Grande FC's goalkeeper Krzysztof Bronder managed, with a little bit of luck, save Daniele Puglielli's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 72 minutes into the match, Daniele Puglielli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krzysztof Bronder, 3-2. Ermanno Giampieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krzysztof Bronder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermanno Giampieri ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Borbiago defense, Alberto Costantino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Barillari. The Borbiago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Barillari should have stopped the shot. Borbiago's Alfredo Barillari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Mannucci in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Monte Grande FC's Filippo Di Clemente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Barillari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. In the 93rd minute, Demetrio Speranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Bronder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniele Puglielli. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borbiago's goalkeeper Alfredo Barillari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Monte Grande FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
