Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ermanno Cavallucci got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Garbatella AFC's Ettore Guerriero got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fabrizio Colelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Caeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Cavallucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Colelli having to make a save. Comunardo Cremonese's late challenge caught a Borbiago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Cremonese helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Comunardo Cremonese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniele Puglielli lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 13 played minutes Borbiago got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Puglielli. Garbatella AFC's Fabrizio Colelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Caeiro in the 19th minute of play. Fabrizio Colelli came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Borbiago's Pedro Caeiro. But to his dismay, Pedro Caeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Garbatella AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Feliziani to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Colelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Caeiro in the 23rd minute of play. Alfredo Barillari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Feliziani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borbiago's Pedro Caeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Garbatella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Caeiro came free, but Fabrizio Colelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borbiago's Pedro Caeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 37th minute of the match Alex Feliziani completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Feliziani a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Diego Macchia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garbatella AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Macchia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Barillari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cristiano Bellucci made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Garbatella AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Caeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carter Piano scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Colelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carter Piano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio Colelli made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Pedro Caeiro sent off a good shot on target. Attilio Piano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fabrizio Colelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Fabrizio Colelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borbiago. Alfredo Barillari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Pomponio in the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Borbiago walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
