Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Maio got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, U.C. Sampdoria's Cristiano Piretti got a free kick in the 16th minute. Bogumil Wieloch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Maio in the 28th minute. After 28 minutes, Carmine Vitale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.C. Sampdoria and the Urbe Et Orbi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to U.C. Sampdoria getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carmine Vitale hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Vitale in the 31st minute of play forced Urbe Et Orbi's goalkeeper Eugenio Cavanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Vitale took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Cavanna. Eugenio Cavanna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Daniele Basile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogumil Wieloch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Urbe Et Orbi's Antonio Maio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessio Vitucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogumil Wieloch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Maio in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Maio in the 45th minute of play forced U.C. Sampdoria's goalkeeper Bogumil Wieloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Maio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bogumil Wieloch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urbe Et Orbi. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bogumil Wieloch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 played minutes Urbe Et Orbi got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio De Marchi. Daniele Basile charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Basile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of U.C. Sampdoria booed when Urbe Et Orbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Basile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbe Et Orbi's Eugenio Cavanna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Urbe Et Orbi from getting a goal against them. Urbe Et Orbi's Aurelio Vettori managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Comunardo Chiarelli in the 95 minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Urbe Et Orbi fully deserved thier win.
