The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Del Nero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Marsili in the 3rd minute. Dino Del Nero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleon Laskos in the 5th minute of play. Dino Giorgio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Elazar Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Cristoforo Taccone made a precise shot to the right of Dino Del Nero. Santa Filomenna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santa Filomenna! Dino Del Nero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleon Laskos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Del Nero was a little too slow when Kleon Laskos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Marcelo Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Football Club Lucania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Rocendo couldn't finish the play. Dino Del Nero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Marsili in the 28th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Santa Filomenna's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Laskos came free, but Dino Del Nero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Del Nero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleon Laskos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dino Giorgio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elazar Nunez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Santa Filomenna's Dino Del Nero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Marsili in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Football Club Lucania getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcelo Rocendo hit a great ball. The supporters of Football Club Lucania booed when Santa Filomenna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Bellomo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Rocendo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
