If Anfilogino Di Marco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Morini during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Emiliano Morini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Alfonso Bernardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Peca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Di Marco in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TORO's zone, Alvise Vaiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Peca came out of the goal and Alvise Vaiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rozzano getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ennio Valente hit a great ball. Franco Bravo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Franco's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Rozzano's Anfilogino Di Marco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Peca. Alvaro Peca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 35th minute, Anfilogino Di Marco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alvise Vaiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anfilogino Di Marco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Peca having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TORO's zone, Alvise Vaiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Peca came out of the goal and Alvise Vaiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, TORO's Alfonso Bernardini made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Bravo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Bernardini to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Bernardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Alvise Vaiani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rozzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Vaiani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Filippo Ippoliti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rozzano's Franco Bravo got control of the ball when Alfonso Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Ippoliti in the 72nd minute of play. Rozzano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Filippo Ippoliti scored to the left of an out of position Franco Bravo, making the score, 3-2. Alfonso Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the TORO defense, Alvise Vaiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Peca. The TORO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Peca should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Rozzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Brambilla to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Rozzano got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Zuccarini. The crowd rose to their feet as Filippo Ippoliti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Bravo. That made the score 4-3 in the 95 minute of play.
