If Alvise Vaiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvise Vaiani was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Rozzano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 14th match minute, Para FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Piacente to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rozzano booed when Para FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Scirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alfredo Manzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Para FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvise Vaiani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 23rd minute, Aurelio Brambilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Ennio Zuccarini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rozzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Para FC the free kick. Fabiano Scalabrino succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 40th minute Alvise Vaiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Manzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Manzi came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Rozzano's Ennio Valente. But to his dismay, Ennio Valente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 45th minute, Alvise Vaiani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Scalabrino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anfilogino Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Manzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donato Vettori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rozzano getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aurelio Brambilla hit a great ball. A hard shot by Alberigo Cerrone from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Franco Bravo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rozzano's Franco Bravo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Rozzano from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rozzano getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Frank Mei hit a great ball. Alberigo Cerrone, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Anfilogino Di Marco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rozzano booed when Para FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Rosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Tiberio got free with Franco Bravo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvise Vaiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Para FC's Alfredo Manzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Vaiani in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Vaiani in the 83rd minute of play forced Para FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Manzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Di Marco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Manzi having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Alvise Vaiani made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Manzi. Para FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvise Vaiani in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Manzi saved Para FC from getting behind. There was no doubt that Rozzano were the better team. Rozzano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
