Attilio Allegretti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Fabrizio Finocchi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the game, FCS Bella Scoperta's Fernando Mac Kenzie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A wasted opportunity for FCS Bella Scoperta. 34 minutes into the match, SS Milazzo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Mac Kenzie came free, but Daniele Giacchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FCS Bella Scoperta's attentive Carlo Bottega managed to snatch the ball when Emanuele Abete made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Daniele Giacchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Mac Kenzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SS Milazzo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCS Bella Scoperta were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Allegretti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Flavio Pala came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniele Giacchetti. 0-4. Daniele Giacchetti made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Fernando Mac Kenzie sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, SS Milazzo's goalkeeper Daniele Giacchetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Mac Kenzie. In the 66th minute, SS Milazzo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavio Pala fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniele Giacchetti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Pala got free with Daniele Giacchetti in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, SS Milazzo's goalkeeper Daniele Giacchetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Mac Kenzie. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristiano Di Leonardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniele Giacchetti. That made the score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Allegretti couldn't finish the play. SS Milazzo's Daniele Giacchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Mac Kenzie in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Cristiano Di Leonardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniele Giacchetti, 0-9. FCS Bella Scoperta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
