Daniele Giacchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Galli, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Daniele Giacchetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damiano Colella went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Corrado Federici hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When GliSfigati's Domenico Galli in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SS Milazzo's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Daniel Capone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Daniele Giacchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Galli might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniele Giacchetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Galli ran back to his position shaking his head. SS Milazzo's Daniele Giacchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Galli in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Domenico Galli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Giacchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Daniel Capone in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Giacchetti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to GliSfigati getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ettore Chioda hit a great ball. After 38 minutes of play, GliSfigati's Ernesto Daniel Capone made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniele Giacchetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domenico Galli struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Daniele Giacchetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GliSfigati. After the first half GliSfigati were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Attilio Allegretti to make the kick off. Attilio Allegretti hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Ernesto Daniel Capone came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniele Giacchetti could save by the left post. In the 57th minute, GliSfigati's Domenico Galli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniele Giacchetti. Daniele Giacchetti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, one of GliSfigati:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Ospina had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Attilio Allegretti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fortunato Iacobucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Ospina having to make a save. When Domenico Galli came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the GliSfigati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Galli couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, SS Milazzo's Daniele Giacchetti got control of the ball when Ernesto Daniel Capone tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Ospina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Allegretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Domenico Galli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Daniele Giacchetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Galli in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Giacchetti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When GliSfigati's Domenico Galli in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SS Milazzo's goalie prevented a goal. The SS Milazzo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GliSfigati were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
