Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) A.C Druento's Ettore Speranza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Mickey Taggart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Vittorio came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armin Catena could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as A.C Druento's Ettore Speranza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armin Catena. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Mickey Taggart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Giammaria having to make a save. A.C Druento's Alberto Giammaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Tana in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, San Giorgio 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Cavallucci came free, but Armin Catena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, San Giorgio 1926's goalkeeper Armin Catena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camillo Perna. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Mickey Taggart put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Giorgio 1926 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Armin Catena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Pozzoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Catena made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Camillo Perna sent off a good shot on target. Claudio Vittorio in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armin Catena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute Attilio Cavallucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Catena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Gargano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alberto Giammaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Claudio Vittorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C Druento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Adriano Gargano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Tana took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Giammaria. Alberto Giammaria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 48th minute of the match, Attilio Cavallucci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armin Catena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Adriano Gargano made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Giammaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Gargano in the 55th minute of the match. If Attilio Tana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armin Catena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Vittorio in the 64th minute of play. Adriano Gargano scored 4-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Giammaria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Druento's zone, Adriano Gargano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Giammaria came out of the goal and Adriano Gargano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes A.C Druento got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Cavallucci. The crowd rose to their feet as Attilio Tana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Giammaria. That made the score 4-3 in the 77 minute of play. San Giorgio 1926's Armin Catena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Speranza in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Ettore Speranza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C Druento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Speranza in the 86th minute of play forced San Giorgio 1926's goalkeeper Armin Catena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Attilio Tana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes, A.C Druento's Dave Feliziani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armin Catena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.C Druento reached it. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Druento's zone, Attilio Tana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Giammaria came out of the goal and Attilio Tana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The A.C Druento support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
