An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Fabrizi in the 13th minute of play forced Mystics's goalkeeper Bruno Martorella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Di Giovanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. Eljas Meltoranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, Mystics's Eugenio Di Giovanni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Proia was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Mystics getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arturo Piccini hit a great ball. Emanuele Ferraresi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bruno Martorella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puciu F.C.. Eljas Meltoranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Corrado Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eljas Meltoranta in the 43rd minute of play. Eugenio Di Giovanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Corrado Proia made a huge save. In the 47th minute Eljas Meltoranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Fabrizi to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Emiliano Baruffa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Martorella skillfully saved the ball. If Eugenio Di Giovanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Mystics's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fabrizi came free, but Bruno Martorella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Catena during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Puciu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Catena to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mystics fully deserved thier win.
