Mystics's Eugenio Di Giovanni got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carter Costacurta hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eljas Meltoranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Corrado Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eljas Meltoranta succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 40th minute, Eljas Meltoranta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Di Giovanni struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Corrado Proia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystics. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Di Giovanni in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corrado Proia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eljas Meltoranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Corrado Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Di Giovanni to make the kick off. Corrado Proia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugenio Di Giovanni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Puciu F.C. from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Di Giovanni in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Corrado Proia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 60 played minutes Puciu F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Gigli. Corrado Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eljas Meltoranta in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Puciu F.C.'s zone, Eugenio Di Giovanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Proia came out of the goal and Eugenio Di Giovanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corrado Proia made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eugenio Di Giovanni sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eljas Meltoranta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mystics's supporters rose to their feet, but Eljas Meltoranta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Proia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Proia made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Eugenio Di Giovanni sent off a good shot on target. Eljas Meltoranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. Eljas Meltoranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eljas Meltoranta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corrado Proia. That made the score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. In the 97th minute, Puciu F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eugenio Di Giovanni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Puciu F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mystics were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
