In the 4th minute Arrigo Casiraghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Lo Iacono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Miccoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberigo Rullo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Taleacotium getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlo Cappucci hit a great ball. Arrigo Casiraghi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ciro Lo Iacono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Rullo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Carlo Belfiore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Philipp Geiblinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Belfiore in the 18th minute of play. Felice Miccoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Lo Iacono having to make a save. When Alberigo Rullo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Valleandona AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Rullo couldn't finish the play. If Felice Miccoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Alberigo Rullo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Taleacotium's Ciro Lo Iacono. Ciro Lo Iacono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberigo Rullo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ciro Lo Iacono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valleandona AFC. 38 minutes into the match, Valleandona AFC's Alberigo Rullo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Lo Iacono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Lo Iacono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Miccoli in the 40th minute of the match. Dino Fabiani kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Valleandona AFC's Sven-Philipp Geiblinger got control of the ball when Ciro Melfi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Belfiore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo Belfiore made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Valleandona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Caccia to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Carlini, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Valleandona AFC's Fabrizio Chizzo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes, Arrigo Casiraghi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valleandona AFC and the Taleacotium players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felice Miccoli in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Lo Iacono saved Taleacotium from getting behind. Valleandona AFC's Sven-Philipp Geiblinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Melfi in the 60th minute of play. Valleandona AFC's Alberigo Rullo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Taleacotium got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Teti. Taleacotium's Ciro Lo Iacono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Miccoli in the 67th minute of play. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Melfi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Belfiore in the 72nd minute of play forced Valleandona AFC's goalkeeper Sven-Philipp Geiblinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Felice Miccoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valleandona AFC and the Taleacotium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valleandona AFC's Felice Miccoli got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Alberigo Rullo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valleandona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Rullo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valleandona AFC's Sven-Philipp Geiblinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Cappucci in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Carlo Belfiore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Philipp Geiblinger. Valleandona AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Belfiore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Ciro Melfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Arrigo Casiraghi made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Lo Iacono. Taleacotium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Many of Valleandona AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Valleandona AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Taleacotium were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
