With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonidas Bosis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corrado Proia saved Puciu F.C. from getting behind. Ercole Gallucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Catena in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Carpi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Imperiale came free, but Ercole Gallucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Di Monte in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Puciu F.C.'s Corrado Proia got control of the ball when Fang Guang Ping tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Fabrizi scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Gallucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Puciu F.C.'s Carter Costacurta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Leonidas Bosis had several of the Puciu F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Corrado Proia as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 38 played minutes, Puciu F.C.'s Emanuele Ferraresi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ercole Gallucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puciu F.C. reached it. After having played for 40 minutes, Cristoforo Oberrauch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo Oberrauch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fang Guang Ping fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonidas Bosis in the 44th minute of play forced Puciu F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fang Guang Ping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Corrado Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Carpi FC's protests and gave Antonello Di Monte a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Carpi FC's Leonidas Bosis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Proia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corrado Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Guang Ping in the 74th minute of play. Fang Guang Ping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. In the 96th minute, Leonidas Bosis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. Ercole Gallucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Imperiale, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Carpi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
