The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Elia Cino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's Anfilogino De Nardis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anfilogino De Nardis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Cino's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Cristofari in the 9th minute of play forced San Martino's goalkeeper Biagio Grimaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfonso Cristofari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Baratta in the 15th minute of play forced S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's goalkeeper Anfilogino De Nardis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Martino's Biagio Grimaldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save San Martino from getting a goal against them. S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's Alfonso Cristofari came free and shot a quick shot against goal 17 minutes in the game, fortunately Biagio Grimaldi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Elia Cino sped through S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anfilogino De Nardis. After a defensive mix-up in San Martino's zone, Alfonso Cristofari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Grimaldi came out of the goal and Alfonso Cristofari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Elia Cino made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. S.S. TUNZE TUNZE's Anfilogino De Nardis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Cino in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino De Nardis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 55th minute Elia Cino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino De Nardis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Alfredo Scivittaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Scivittaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Armin Molinaro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the San Martino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Molinaro couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, San Martino's Elia Cino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anfilogino De Nardis. Anfilogino De Nardis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Elia Cino in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anfilogino De Nardis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Cino got free with Anfilogino De Nardis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to S.S. TUNZE TUNZE getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Carmine Forlani hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Baratta got free with Anfilogino De Nardis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elia Cinos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Anfilogino De Nardis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anfilogino De Nardis came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by San Martino's Elia Cino. But to his dismay, Elia Cino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When Alfonso Cristofari came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the S.S. TUNZE TUNZE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Cristofari couldn't finish the play. A collision led to San Martino getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Armin Molinaro hit a great ball. Anfilogino De Nardis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Cino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Augusto Di Leonardo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Elia Cino in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anfilogino De Nardis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anfilogino De Nardis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Scivittaro in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over San Martino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.S. TUNZE TUNZE throughout the match.
