In the 13th minute, Eugenio Di Giovanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Trento's goal looked a bit too open when Eljas Meltoranta came free, but Donato Nazzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eljas Meltoranta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Nazzaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Armando Di Febo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Martorella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eljas Meltoranta scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Nazzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Mystics got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Negri. Damiano Restaino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Trento players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mystics were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Di Febo made a kick off. Eljas Meltoranta charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eljas Meltoranta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mystics getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 63rd match minute, Trento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Giorgi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mystics booed when Trento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Falone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Di Giovanni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Donato Nazzaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Donato Nazzaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Di Giovanni in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trento's zone, Eljas Meltoranta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Nazzaro came out of the goal and Eljas Meltoranta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eljas Meltoranta in the 72nd minute of play forced Trento's goalkeeper Donato Nazzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Trento defense, Eugenio Di Giovanni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Nazzaro. The Trento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Nazzaro should have stopped the shot. 0-4 became the score in the 76th minute when Eugenio Di Giovanni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Trento's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Di Giovanni came free, but Donato Nazzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Trento's goal looked a bit too open when Eljas Meltoranta came free, but Donato Nazzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
