Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felice Miccoli got the match started through his kick off. Claudio Guerriero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Miccoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Fabrizio Chizzo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Pani in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Guerriero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valleandona AFC's Sven-Philipp Geiblinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Basso in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Felice Miccoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Valleandona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Casiraghi. The supporters of Valleandona AFC booed when Varazze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Evani didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabrizio Chizzo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Valleandona AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Chizzo couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Toto was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Toto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Antonio Pani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valleandona AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varazze the free kick. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Evani in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Emiliano Basso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Philipp Geiblinger. Valleandona AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Basso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Augusto Toto sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Philipp Geiblinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Basso in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Arrigo Casiraghi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Varazze's Claudio Guerriero. Claudio Guerriero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franco Ronca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Sven-Philipp Geiblinger made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Felice Miccoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felice Miccoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Ronca came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Philipp Geiblinger could save by the left post. In the 87th match minute, Varazze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Basso to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st match minute, Valleandona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Muzi to maneuver through the defense. Franco Ronca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Sven-Philipp Geiblinger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valleandona AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
