Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Fulvio Cimino put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Corrado Proia. 9 minutes into the game, Ettore Gigli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puciu F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Li Archibugieri the free kick. 10 minutes into the game, Li Archibugieri's Gastón Saurø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corrado Proia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 14th match minute, Puciu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Baruffa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Gastón Saurø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Li Archibugieri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gastón Saurø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Fulvio Cimino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Li Archibugieri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Fulvio Cimino took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corrado Proia. Corrado Proia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Armando Fabrizi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Puciu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Fabrizi couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Armando Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Li Archibugieri's Fulvio Cimino in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puciu F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Cimino in the 45th minute of play forced Puciu F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Fulvio Cimino made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio Cimino in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corrado Proia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Corrado Proia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gastón Saurø. In the 65th match minute, Puciu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Ascenzi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Li Archibugieri's zone, Dino Imperiale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Olsson came out of the goal and Dino Imperiale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Li Archibugieri's Alex Giusto got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Dino Imperiale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Olsson having to interfere. Vincent Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Imperiale, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Cristoforo Sammartano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulvio Cimino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Corrado Proia 83 minutes into the match. Dino Imperiale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vincent Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Sammartano's late challenge caught a Puciu F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Sammartano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Puciu F.C. booed when Li Archibugieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Sammartano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Li Archibugieri played a much better game than Puciu F.C. and deserved their victory. The Puciu F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
