The referee showed Achille Terrasi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, USD Cavese's Achille Terrasi got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Cino in the 12th minute of play forced USD Cavese's goalkeeper Augusto Bonfigli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Cino in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Bonfigli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Grassi in the 19th minute of play forced USD Cavese's goalkeeper Augusto Bonfigli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Terrasi got free with Biagio Grimaldi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciccio Lo Iacono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Grimaldi having to interfere. When Achille Terrasi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. In the 28th match minute, USD Cavese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Terrasi to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio De Donatis was slow to take the kick. During this time San Martino's players had a chance to rest. In the 44thth minute of the game Elia Cino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USD Cavese's Augusto Bonfigli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felice Catucci hit a great ball. Augusto Bonfigli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
