Spectators: 8142 (Terracing: 6107, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute Arrigo Marrone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Muzzatti in the 8th minute of play. Fabrizio Canzano might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Buinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Canzano ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Canzano in the 16th minute of play. Armando Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergman in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Calatafimi Segesta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Esposito who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Fabrizio Canzano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calatafimi Segesta's Armando Buinton did a great save. In the 23rd match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Canzano to maneuver through the defense. Arrigo Marrone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Marrone in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Buinton saved Calatafimi Segesta from getting behind. Armando Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Canzano in the 37th minute of the match. Arrigo Marrone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Buinton having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ove Bergman made the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Canzano scored 0-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Buinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calatafimi Segesta's Armando Buinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergman in the 54th minute of play. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Muzzatti in the 57th minute of play. Arrigo Marrone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Aceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calatafimi Segesta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beppe Carrea in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Calatafimi Segesta's corner Alexander Di Fabrizio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Casillas quite easily take care of the ball. After 62 minutes, Alexander Di Fabrizio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boleslaw Przebendowski hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Anthony Muzzatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beppe Carrea struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Iker Casillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calatafimi Segesta. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Ferdinando Aceto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Casillas came out of the goal and Ferdinando Aceto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calatafimi Segesta's Concetto Spione was substituted for Ferdinando Aceto. Arrigo Marrone's late challenge caught a Calatafimi Segesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Marrone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Marrone to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Anthony Muzzatti sped through Villa Gordiani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Casillas. Calatafimi Segesta's Armando Buinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergman in the 79th minute of play. If Ove Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Gordiani made a substitution. Natã de Salles replaced Arrigo Marrone. Armando Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rab Uba, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Concetto Spione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Ove Bergman got a free kick in the 91st minute. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Muzzatti in the 92nd minute of the match. Natã de Salles came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armando Buinton could save by the left post. Beppe Carrea kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Calatafimi Segesta could leave the field as winners, despite Villa Gordiani having more of the ball for most of the match.
