Alfonso Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Júnior Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Giorda. Júnior Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Júnior Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 32 in the game by Júnior Mazza from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Giorda managed to make a qualified save. San Colombano's players were relieved. In the 35th match minute, San Colombano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Di Bernardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Aquilino Gaskon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfonso Giorda, passed just outside the right post. Júnior Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Giorda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júnior Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Aquilino Gaskon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfonso Giorda, passed just outside the right post. In the 41st minute, Júnior Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Anzolin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alfonso Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Mazza in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Mannella to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Aquilino Gaskon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Giorda. San Colombano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Gaskon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júnior Mazza in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Giorda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Júnior Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes San Colombano got a freekick which was hit by Franco Di Bernardo. 59 minutes into the game, Júnior Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alfonso Giorda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Fulvio Lucantoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anunnaki FC made a substitution. Alex Pagliuca replaced Júnior Mazza. In the 64th match minute, Anunnaki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Lucantoni to maneuver through the defense. Alex Pagliuca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquilino Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Alex Pagliuca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Giorda. San Colombano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Pagliuca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Alex Pagliuca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anunnaki FC made a substitution. Elia Caccia replaced Alessio Piattelli. Alfonso Giorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Pagliuca, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Anunnaki FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Mariotti in the 77th minute. Dino Polito thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alfonso Giorda, a very annoying self made goal in the 77th minute which led to 5-0. San Colombano's Alfonso Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Gaskon in the 80th minute of play. Alfonso Giorda came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Anunnaki FC's Aquilino Gaskon. But to his dismay, Aquilino Gaskon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Alfonso Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pagliuca in the 89th minute of play. Alfonso Giorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Pagliuca, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Alex Pagliuca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anunnaki FC's Alex Pagliuca in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Colombano's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anunnaki FC had played much better football throughout.
