The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Marrone got free with Zenon Birkenhagen in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Misinto's Zenon Birkenhagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lia Marquez in the 13th minute of play. Zenon Birkenhagen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Fabrizio Canzano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lia Marquez in the 16th minute of play forced Misinto's goalkeeper Zenon Birkenhagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Misinto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Esposito was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Gordiani's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Misinto's goalie and right to Rab Uba. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Misinto's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zenon Birkenhagen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arrigo Marrone sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Villa Gordiani's Zenon Birkenhagen threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rab Uba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 28 played minutes Misinto got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Restaino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Marrone got free with Zenon Birkenhagen in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Restaino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Loewe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa Gordiani's Lia Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenon Birkenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lia Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Lia Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Gordiani's Fabrizio Canzano got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lia Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Arrigo Marrone hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lia Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Villa Gordiani booed when Misinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Restaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lia Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zenon Birkenhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Lia Marquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arrigo Marrone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes, Villa Gordiani's Ciro Esposito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zenon Birkenhagen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Gordiani reached it. Lia Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Birkenhagen having to interfere. Zenon Birkenhagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Canzano in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Canzano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Misinto's Zenon Birkenhagen. Zenon Birkenhagen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. In the 93rd minute Ove Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Birkenhagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Tamer Vefakar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Misinto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Gordiani the free kick.
