Michelangelo Menduni made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Denny Kok sent off a good shot on target. Federico Armellini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Orlandus in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Orlandus in the 24th minute of play forced AS Fonte Nuova's goalkeeper Federico Armellini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Fonte Nuova's Federico Armellini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Sisti in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Prato Valera's goalkeeper Michelangelo Menduni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Campitelli. AS Fonte Nuova's supporters rose to their feet, but Denny Kok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michelangelo Menduni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Zulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denny Kok stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Prato Valera's Aldo Novella to fire away a dangerous shot which Federico Armellini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Prato Valera's Ciro Mangione got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Armellini made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Emiliano Zulli sent off a good shot on target. Michelangelo Menduni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Kok in the 59th minute of the match. Alvise Sisti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Federico Armellini made a huge save. Federico Armellini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes AS Fonte Nuova got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Costantino. Federico Armellini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aldo Novella. Michelangelo Menduni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Kok in the 89th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Prato Valera got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Mangione. Federico Armellini was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Alvise Sisti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvise Sisti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Prato Valera's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
