But to his dismay, Pastor Cilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the LUPI defense, Pastor Cilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Pasqualone. The LUPI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Pasqualone should have stopped the shot. If Pastor Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esse Trento's Emiliano Orsi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emilio Zuccarini, made in the 14th minute of the game. If Pastor Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Alex Abbagnale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio De Bettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Beppe Longo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin did a great save. 31 minutes into the game, Emiliano Orsi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Attilio Pasqualone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Pomponio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Emiliano Orsi took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Pasqualone. Attilio Pasqualone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Abbagnale was the one to do the kick off. Alberigo Di Meo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Cesare Padula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio De Bettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Abbagnale in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute LUPI were awarded a corner. Beppe Longo went to the cornerflag to take it. Beppe Longo made a great header on LUPI's corner, it was just that Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alberigo Scoca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esse Trento's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Scoca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Pasqualone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Cilio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Attilio Pasqualone skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 73 minutes into the match, Emiliano Orsi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Attilio Pasqualone, 0-7. Esse Trento's Emiliano Orsi got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in LUPI's zone, Emiliano Orsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Pasqualone came out of the goal and Emiliano Orsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes Esse Trento got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Scoca. Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Abbagnale in the 83rd minute of play. Pastor Cilio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Attilio Pasqualone skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Raí Bezerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Attilio Pasqualone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alberigo Scoca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Esse Trento could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LUPI throughout the match.
