The supporters of SSC Special Eleven booed when E.C. 95 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Giusto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Romanese scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Contestabile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adriano Romanese struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bruno Contestabile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Special Eleven. Bruno Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Andreoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Romanese, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. E.C. 95's Bruno Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Esposito in the 26th minute of play. The SSC Special Eleven fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when SSC Special Eleven's Alfredo Esposito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute, Bruno Andreoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to E.C. 95 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Federico Di Bernardo hit a great ball. Alfonso Mauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Mauro in the 37th minute of play forced E.C. 95's goalkeeper Bruno Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, E.C. 95's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Esposito came free, but Bruno Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Alfredo Esposito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Special Eleven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 42 played minutes E.C. 95 got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Caniglia. In the 43rd minute, Concetto Barberio made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Contestabile. E.C. 95's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The E.C. 95 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SSC Special Eleven were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Serafini was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Toccaceli came free, but Damian Ştiopul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SSC Special Eleven's Alfonso Mauro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Contestabile. That made the score 0-6 after 55 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the game, Alfonso Mauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Bruno Contestabile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Mauro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Bruno Contestabile 62 minutes into the match. Bruno Contestabile made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Demetrio Chiarelli sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, E.C. 95's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Esposito came free, but Bruno Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Esposito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Mauro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 76 minutes into the game, Andrea Caniglia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C. 95's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Special Eleven the free kick. Andrea Caniglia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alfonso Mauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSC Special Eleven's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Mauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Mauro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Contestabile saved E.C. 95 from getting behind. Edmondo Maccioni lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bruno Contestabile had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Concetto Barberio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bruno Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Mauro in the 88th minute of the match. When Alfredo Esposito came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SSC Special Eleven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Esposito couldn't finish the play. With his leg Bruno Contestabile managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when SSC Special Eleven's Adriano Romanese fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SSC Special Eleven's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
