Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armin Mozzoni took the kick off in the first half of the match. Francesco Del Greco struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Francesco Lampa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gambettola AFC. After 5 played minutes Maglianello Basso got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Polito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Mozzoni in the 10th minute of play forced Gambettola AFC's goalkeeper Enzo Pietropaolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Caccia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Caccia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gambettola AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ciro Caccia hit a great ball. Enzo Pietropaolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Polito in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Maglianello Basso's Armin Mozzoni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enzo Pietropaolo. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Enzo Pietropaolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Polito in the 16th minute. Enzo Pietropaolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Tomei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Ciro Buffone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maglianello Basso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gambettola AFC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Maglianello Basso got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Buffone. After a rather tough play, Maglianello Basso's Enrico Berardi got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Ciro Caccia came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gambettola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Caccia couldn't finish the play. Francesco Del Greco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Lampa having to interfere. Francesco Del Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Gambettola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Mozzoni came free, but Enzo Pietropaolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Pietropaolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Tomei in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maglianello Basso's Achille Polo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Francesco Del Greco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Lampa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Enzo Pietropaolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Polito in the 51st minute of the match. Ciro Buffone kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Francesco Lampa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Del Greco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 60 minutes, Ciro Buffone made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gambettola AFC's Enzo Pietropaolo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maglianello Basso's Frank Tomei got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ciro Buffone took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Pietropaolo. Enzo Pietropaolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Del Greco got free with Francesco Lampa in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Polito in the 75th minute of play forced Gambettola AFC's goalkeeper Enzo Pietropaolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudio Polito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Pietropaolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Polito, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Claudio Polito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Pietropaolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Mammarella took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Pietropaolo. Enzo Pietropaolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Armin Mozzoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maglianello Basso fully deserved thier win.
