In the 5th minute Alex Abbagnale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Rosati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Colombarone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Attili came free, but Filippo Rosati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Dino Pomponio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Bianco Attili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Rosati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Alex Abbagnale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombarone FC's Filippo Rosati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, LUPI's Beppe Longo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filippo Rosati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rachid Aarache scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Pasqualone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filippo Garofoli charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippo Garofoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filippo Garofoli kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Filippo Rosati came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by LUPI's Ennio Palmucci. But to his dismay, Ennio Palmucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Alex Abbagnale notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Colombarone FC's Filippo Rosati. Filippo Rosati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Palmucci in the 33rd minute of play forced Colombarone FC's goalkeeper Filippo Rosati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Colombarone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Rosati should have stopped the shot. Colombarone FC's Filippo Rosati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Abbagnale in the 47th minute of play. After the first half LUPI were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Filippo Rosati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Longo in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, LUPI's Fabrizio Vierchowod sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippo Rosati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, LUPI's Alex Abbagnale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filippo Rosati. Filippo Rosati yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-10 when Alex Abbagnale sped through Colombarone FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Rosati. In the 73rd minute, LUPI's Alex Abbagnale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filippo Rosati. Filippo Rosati yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-12. Bianco Attili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Rosati having to interfere. Frankie Biernat took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Pasqualone. Attilio Pasqualone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-12. 81 minutes into the game, Beppe Longo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-13. Filippo Rosati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, LUPI's Alex Abbagnale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-14. LUPI's Attilio Pasqualone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Silvagni in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Alex Abbagnale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filippo Rosati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Pani in the 93rd minute of play forced LUPI's goalkeeper Attilio Pasqualone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filippo Rosati was a little too slow when Alex Abbagnale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-15. The Colombarone FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LUPI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
