After 30 minutes, Baltasar Canyelles made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Maglianello Basso's Francesco Lampa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio Polito's late challenge caught a Tolfa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 46th minute Comunardo Chiarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Lampa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tolfa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
