Esse Trento's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Orsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Basilico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Cosimo Galante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio De Bettin, 1-0. Flavio De Bettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Galante in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Esse Trento getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ciro Combi hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Alfredo Trotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Trotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Flavio De Bettin made a huge save. The corner ended in Alfredo Trotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esse Trento's Flavio De Bettin did a great save. In the 25th minute Leopoldo Cuarto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio De Bettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Esse Trento booed when A.C. MILANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Trotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Alberigo Scoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio De Bettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Carter Ascoli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flavio De Bettin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leopoldo Cuarto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Flavio De Bettin made a huge save. In the 39th match minute, Esse Trento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Di Meo to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, A.C. MILANS's Flavio De Bettin threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Achille Dominici, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cosimo Galante took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Flavio De Bettin to make any attempt to save it. Alfredo Trotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Flavio De Bettin made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Trotta in the 64th minute of play forced Esse Trento's goalkeeper Flavio De Bettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Emiliano Orsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Alfredo Trotta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio De Bettin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Alfredo Trotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio De Bettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Flavio De Bettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Prata in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Lucas Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio De Bettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C. MILANS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carter Ascoli in the 85th minute. A.C. MILANS's Carter Ascoli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio De Bettin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Alfredo Trotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucas Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio De Bettin having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, A.C. MILANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Mouzaoui to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Cilio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Fortunato Basilico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esse Trento. A.C. MILANS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
