Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Armin Mozzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Armin Mozzoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Rosati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maglianello Basso getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ettore Cellucci hit a great ball. A hard shot by Fedele Sciarra from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Francesco Lampa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Francesco Lampa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Silvagni, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Filippo Garofoli put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the game, one of Colombarone FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Armin Mozzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Polito in the 25th minute of play forced Colombarone FC's goalkeeper Filippo Rosati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombarone FC's Filippo Rosati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Buffone in the 33rd minute of play. Filippo Rosati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Mozzoni in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Ciro Buffone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Filippo Rosati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Buffone hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Filippo Rosati came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Maglianello Basso's Frank Tomei. But to his dismay, Frank Tomei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Maglianello Basso were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Mozzoni made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Armin Mozzoni shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Filippo Rosati and just under the crossbar into goal. 58 minutes into the game, Armin Mozzoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filippo Rosati. Armin Mozzoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Colombarone FC's Filippo Rosati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Cellucci in the 63rd minute of play. When Armin Mozzoni came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Maglianello Basso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Mozzoni couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes of play, Maglianello Basso's Claudio Polito made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Rosati was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Claudio Polito got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filippo Rosati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Tomei, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombarone FC's zone, Claudio Polito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Rosati came out of the goal and Claudio Polito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filippo Rosati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Tomei in the 91st minute. If Armin Mozzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Colombarone FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maglianello Basso were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
