Francesco Lampa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Mauro scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Lampa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Esposito in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Lampa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Concetto Barberio made a great header on SSC Special Eleven's corner, it was just that Inter Milan's Francesco Lampa managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corrado Schiavio during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Corrado Schiavio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Francesco Lampa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Esposito, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Mozzoni in the 37th minute of play forced SSC Special Eleven's goalkeeper Damian Ştiopul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Mozzoni struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Damian Ştiopul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Milan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Ettore Cellucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Andreoli kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Inter Milan's Francesco Lampa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Esposito in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Inter Milan's Frank Tomei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 79th minute Alfonso Mauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Lampa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, SSC Special Eleven's Dario Scafati seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dario Scafati the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SSC Special Eleven protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dario Scafati had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 86 played minutes SSC Special Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Dario Scafati. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Special Eleven's zone, Frank Tomei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Ştiopul came out of the goal and Frank Tomei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Ştiopul made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Claudio Polito sent off a good shot on target.
