If Francesco Del Greco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gambettola AFC's Ciro Caccia got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, one of Colombarone FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colombarone FC. The referee gave Gambettola AFC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Francesco Del Greco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colombarone FC's Fabrizio Renzetti. 1-0. Enzo Pietropaolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Villa in the 18th minute of the match. Enzo Pietropaolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Massimini, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Enzo Pietropaolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Massimini in the 24th minute of the match. Colombarone FC's Fortunato Giacomozzi suffered a fractured collar bone after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Gambettola AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Francesco Del Greco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Fabrizio Renzetti made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Emiliano De Sanctis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Fanfarone in the 39th minute of play forced Colombarone FC's goalkeeper Fabrizio Renzetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Del Grecos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Fabrizio Renzetti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Colombarone FC's Fabrizio Renzetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Colombarone FC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice moves Ennio Genovese could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Enzo Pietropaolo however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 65 minutes, Ferdinando Mascitti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombarone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Mascitti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo Pietropaolo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Damiano Villa sent off a good shot on target. Enzo Pietropaolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano De Sanctis in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Amedeo Fanfarone notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colombarone FC's Fabrizio Renzetti. Fabrizio Renzetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute Colombarone FC were awarded a corner. Ettore Boccanera went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eugenio Massimini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enzo Pietropaolo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gambettola AFC's Enzo Pietropaolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Villa in the 78th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Colombarone FC's Enzo Pietropaolo threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damiano Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 87 minutes, Anselmo Di Giulio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gambettola AFC and the Colombarone FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Comunardo Pesce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gambettola AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Gambettola AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
