Semantra AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semantra AC's Buğrahan Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Akgün in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Fabrizio Cavaliere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Semantra AC's goalkeeper Buğrahan Ufki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Corte di Camasco's Aldo Carta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buğrahan Ufki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florian Di Vincenzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Salomone in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Semantra AC's Bianco Bosco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bianco Bosco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Semantra AC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bianco Bosco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Semantra AC! Evert Helander shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 28 minutes into the match, Aldo Carta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Buğrahan Ufki. Semantra AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Carta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Buğrahan Ufki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Carta in the 40th minute of play. Alberigo Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Di Vincenzo having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Semantra AC's goalkeeper Buğrahan Ufki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahir Akgün. Flavio Marconi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Florian Di Vincenzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semantra AC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Akgün got free with Buğrahan Ufki in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Semantra AC's Fabrizio Cavaliere got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Corte di Camasco defense, Flavio Marconi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Di Vincenzo. The Corte di Camasco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Di Vincenzo should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Semantra AC's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Akgün came free, but Buğrahan Ufki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Evert Helander made a precise shot to the right of Buğrahan Ufki. Semantra AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.
