Aldo Carta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigoris Ballios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Mahir Akgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felice Bergomi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Evert Helander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Grigoris Ballios made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Federico Minicucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Birreal's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Minicucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Di Vincenzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Ballios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahir Akgün in the 89th minute of play. Corte di Camasco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evert Helander in the 90th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Atletico Birreal's goalie and right to Oscar Barbereau. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Atletico Birreal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aldo Carta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Ballios having to interfere. A collision led to Atletico Birreal getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Wincenty Badanowski hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Mahir Akgün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigoris Ballios. Atletico Birreal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mahir Akgün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.
