In the 25th match minute, Carugos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Taranto to maneuver through the defense. Christian Tolino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camillo Casciano having to make a save. Camillo Casciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Iacomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Christian Taranto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. The Real Bisalta fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Real Bisalta's Cristiano Iacomini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the game, Carugos's Daniele Bomba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Hesp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a left leg Camillo Casciano saved Carugos from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Iacomini made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Carugos's Davide Giorgio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Christian Tolino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ernesto Gianfrancesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domenico Passerini kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ernesto Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Biscotti kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Real Bisalta's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Gianfrancesco came free, but Ruud Hesp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Bisalta's Ruud Hesp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Gianfrancesco in the 72nd minute of play. Ferdinando Faieta made a great header on Carugos's corner, it was just that Real Bisalta's Ruud Hesp managed to reach the ball for a save.
