Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felice Manzi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Tedeschi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Vicolungo AFC's Daniele Di Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Tedeschi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Borys Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Cioculescu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Tedeschi. Dino Tedeschi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Basarab Coșereanu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dino Tedeschi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicolungo AFC. Daniele Di Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Tedeschi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Realseno's Dino Tedeschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Coșereanu in the 47th minute of play. Bianco Martinelli's late challenge caught a Vicolungo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Martinelli helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felice Manzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicolungo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
